Magdalena Linke: What is your idea for a business?
Marta Hagen & Ania Witko: Once we made a braid to decorate our apartment and a lot of people drew attention to it asking where we bought it, so we thought it was a good idea to set up a “Pokoj dzienny” and do more nice things.
Do you know a lot about plants?
We are not experts and we do not deal with this professionally, but overall it is a relatively embrace topic for us. “Pokoj dzienny” is not involved in botany or floristics in the literal sense of the word. We deal with space arrangement.
So what do you offer?
We do various things: braids, flower pots, stands. Right now, on sale we have only braids but this will change soon.
What is your philosophy?
Nothing by force. If anyone finds us interesting, they will go for us.
You take part in various events in the city. What’s next?
Recently we did a workshop organized by the initiative “Warsaw in flowers”. Soon there will be more of it, this time under the auspices of the magazine “Zwykle Zycie”. Currently, you can find us on the North of Poland, in the capital city and on the Internet. You can also order a braid by Cloudmine website.
